Welcome to Building Theme Parks (BTP, for short), the most comprehensive for theme park construction projects on the web! This is where you will find out all about various new rides that theme parks are adding, and each one of these projects will have its own dedicated page so that you can look up various construction updates and details in an organized, efficient manner. Everyday, I will scour the internet looking for the latest news and updates regarding everything related to theme park construction! This will not necessarily be like Screamscape where all the news is reported, just stuff about new rides.
In addition, BTP will also have trip reports and ride reviews about all the theme parks are visit and roller coasters that I ride. I also enjoy snapping photos of the various parks that I visit, so you will see many of my own photos of rides and the parks themselves included in the site as well. Additionally, if there are projects going on at a park near me, I will try to provide updates for those as well. One note on my own updates, though: You will notice changes between frequent updates from New England parks and freqent updates from Hersheypark. This is because I am currently living in Lexington, MA, but go to college at Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, PA. The summer months will have many parks from New England, the spring and fall months will be filled with Hersheypark (and maybe a little Dutch Wonderland) and the winters will have…well…nothing much.
BTP is dedictaed to providing you with the most comprehensive news regarding theme park development around the world. If you would like to contribute your own piece of news to be placed in an update, please feel fee to e-mail me at runningblog@yahoo.com. If you do so, please provide some kind of evidence (site a source, a photo or ground work/markers, etc.) because I do not like to post random rumors…I like to have some evidence to back up what I post.
Thank you very much for stopping by! I hope that you found your time here worthwhile, and I hope that you will stop by again!
Sincerely, Tim
